MEET THE OWNER

Justin’s love for dogs began early and has been a constant throughout his life. From Christie the Miniature Poodle to Sadie, Gunner, Sarge, and Hulk—each dog played a role in shaping the trainer he is today. His time at the Starmark Dog Training Academy further solidified his calling to help families find peace and confidence with their dogs.

As an Eagle Scout with a Bachelor’s in Business, Justin launched Ward’s Dog Training in February 2016, trusting God with each step. That same year, he married his wife, Amber, and today they’re raising two boys, Hunter and Grayson. Their family enjoys dogs, sports, travel, reading, and spending time in Scripture together.

Over the past nine years, Ward’s Dog Training has grown steadily and now operates with a team of 8–12 dedicated staff members. Justin is grateful for the heart, integrity, and care his team brings to every dog—always striving to serve families with excellence and compassion.

    "Jordan is an amazing trainer! I’m a first-time dog owner, and he really broke down the psychology of our dog (Nala). He is a great communicator and was extremely patient with us. They would also send out videos to show what they were doing with training and how our dog was progressing. We loved the whole process and are glad we chose Ward’s!"

    "Ava and Winnie just completed private training with Zoe. What a wonderful experience! Zoe is an excellent trainer who genuinely cares about each dog. She always gave me excellent insight when I asked specific questions to help reinforce training at home.
